A Helping Hand.

This is me trying to help out a friend with a song for her cousin's wedding. My first attempt at ever writing a song ever. Be kind, but honest.

She grew up wishing of love
and fairy tales
Dreaming of being a princess
who finds her prince
And how the world should be
such a magical place

Everybody told her fairy tales
were nothing but dreams
And that not everything in the world
is what it seems

Along comes a prince
in search of adventure
A knight in his shining armor
to find himself a dragon to slay
In hopes of becoming a hero
and reaping its rewards

For the prince there was no dragon
no glory to be had
Until he spotted a princess
and knew at first sight
That this was much more
than any treasure could bring

Everybody told them fairy tales
are nothing but dreams
And that not everything in the world
is what it seems

But they both now know
that it is no longer a dream
They have found their own fairy tale
their own magical world
A girl who has found her a prince
and a prince who has the greatest treasure of all
